STEP2-3: Dropdown menu - Manage Master Date

When you click the account name, a dropdown menu will open.



Manage master date


When editing a application documents, you may want to set up radio buttons / select boxes / check boxes.

Manage master date allows you to prepare a set of choices in advance so that the choices can be automatically filled in when editing a application document.


Use this feature when using a set of choices repeatedly or when you have a large number of choices.

Master data can also be registered for each language.



The choices that have been pre-registered as initial data and the master data used for the initiated recruitment cannot be changed or deleted.

※You can download the CSV file of the master data.



To add a new choice master date, follow the steps below.


  1. Click the ”Add New” button.


  2. The Create master data screen will be displayed.

    ①Language (Required)Set the language for registering the option master.
    ②Master name (Required)

    Set the name of the option master.

    ③Department/Course

    Set the specific faculty/graduate school if the option master is to be used only for a particular faculty or graduate school.

    ④Use of Option Master with Requester Email Address

    You can set the requester’s email address as an option when submitting request documents.

    ⑤Download CSV Template

    Download the CSV file template for uploading options.

    ⑥Upload File

    Upload the CSV file containing the options to be set.

    ⑦Save

    Save the configured option master.



  3. Click the button in ⑤ to download the CSV file template with your desired character encoding.

  4. Please enter the choices in the downloaded file.

    ・You can enter a management code linked to each choice.
    If left blank, a sequential number starting from “1” will be automatically assigned.
    ・Do not delete the first row; enter the choices and their corresponding codes starting from the second row.

  5. Click ⑥ to upload the CSV file with the entered choices.A list of the entered choices and their codes will be displayed.
  6. Click “Save” to save the option master date.


Set the requestee’s email address as a selectable option.


When you configure the “Requestee’s Email Address” option master date, applicants can select the requester’s email address from the list of options when requesting documents from a third party.


You can set the “Requestee’s Email Address” option master by following the steps below:

  1. ④Check the box to use the option master for the requestee’s email address.

  2. Enter the email addresses in the code section of the CSV file.
  3. When you upload the CSV file and save it, you can set the requestee’s email address as an option.

You can download a CSV file of the choices master from the registered choices details page.


Click the button below to download the CSV file.


The setup of the master date is now complete.
